A number of my senior citizen subscribers thought this was plastic. One was even surprised coz she thought it was plastic, she even asked where I bought the plant. Its just a home grown plant maam.
This cute plant brought joy to my heart and brought joy to those who came today. Plants make us happy. They remind us of God's wonderful creation. It allows us to show the care for them rather than think of ourselves.

      I found out that I have cyst on my left breast which about .5 cm in size. The first time the doctor informed me about my condition I turned emotional and a lot of things flashed like a movie in my mind. But that was five or six years ago. 7.2 Eartquake October 15, 2013

Its a lovely tuesday mornig, feeling blessed with great weather, great breakfast and most exciting about is that its a holiday.

WOw!

No work.

Its a day that I anticipated much coz I finally have this day to groom my plants, general cleaning, just chilling in bed, not getting to bath early.

 Wow!

I so super dooper ultra mega hyper....

After the load of a two week old laundry, pants, clothes, undies, t shirts, shorts and office clothes I got my hands dirty with soil and my brow sweating.

And while I was getting soil, I felt a bit dizzy  and indeed its an earthquake.

I saw the mango trees swaying and the wires moving.

It was longer than expected and I somehow panicked and just stood there waiting for it to end.

The the news came about old churches in bohol and cebu damaged by the earthquake and a number of people died. This is something out of our control and what we can do is pray for the families who lost their loved ones.

Getting busy for the conference preparations for Oct 31 to November 3 @ Mt Moriah in Malaybalay.While practicing the body binding and bone breaking moves, we have to do the sideline of making these chocoballs. Nag trending lang sa red cross (many thanks to shad ) and blockbuster sa parasat  ( many thanks to Erna) and sold out sa CCT ( thanks to Jean). Though we have to make dokdok the ace crackers and make lingin lingin for the balls the ladies are doing it with joy and enthusiam to raise funds for the said conference.

Ingredients:

Alamang 1/2 cup1 pieace onion
2 cloves garlic
 5 regular pieces tomatoes
 cooking oil
1/2 kilo pork meat


Procedure:

Saute garlic in medium heat. Then add  the onion and the tomatoes. Add the pork and when tender add the alamang and serve best for appetizer with rice on a regular meal and best served with boiled banana.

My personal preference is boiled banana.

Ways to cope with Emotional Surge

Patience is a virtue and today I dont have that virtue.

I hate the feeling when you feel alive and kicking and somebody hurts you and their words seemed shouting at you and making your hear turn and turn until it aches. As if the blood from all my body went all to my head.

I hate the feeling of just the desire to reach out, to communicate will be viewed as something annoying to someone. Its just a simple question. It was not something that could require a genius or a board topnotcher to answer.

So, unexpectedly, human as  I am, I felt the blood rushing and now Im feeling angry and really annoyed and all the emotions mixed and went mumbo jumbo, like a roller coaster ride.

I hate to feel this feeling.
I wanted to stop from feeling this way but, I just cant help it.

Emotional surge. Its a sudden, quickly happening and unexpectedly.

I hope this would subside coz I dont like it.
I dont want to hate someone.

Ways to Cope emotional Surge

1. Calm down. It was something so sudden That I didnt gave myself time o calm down. I panicked and pride got me.  I allowed myself to get hurt and I retaliated with words.
2. Think first before you speak. This was something that I failed to do. I was so emotionally defensive, I was bombarded with words so I defended myself with words. Words that maybe also hurt the other party.
3. Embrace silence - Its when in silence we can contemplate and realize that things should not have gone that far. But in my case regret was something predictable. Things get our of hand often times when we dont have self control. And self control is for the mature ones.
4. Shield the heart with God's word and apply it. The biggest mistake I committed early this morning.I heard God's word, read it but failed to apply it in my life. He said in His word:

    

Lord, I praise You, for Your mercy is everlasting.
Help me to remember that every battle in
this life is Yours. The outcome belongs to
You because You are sovereign.

No matter what is in front of us, God is always behind us.

What a shame, it was given. Right at the start of my day I have read God's word, but did I apply it? Thats my lesson for today. Take a deep breath and relax. Tomorrow is another day.

Today, im just a failure

This cant be happening.
I was just gone for a few hours and now im three notches away from my yesterday's rank on topblogs.
I dont know what happened. But one sure thing I know, I was not able to make a single post for today.
Tsk, tsk, tsk.
I dont know if I will still be able to make up for the lost rank and the lowest so far for the months that I have joined topblogs.

I dont know what to do.
I just so down and out and worried and really not happy.
Maybe, my posts are not quality enough or relevant enough to make the kind of impact I wanted this blog to have. Maybe I have to accept the fact that Im not really that talented when it comes to blogging and writing.

Im Just down and I feel no motivation to bring me back to life.

Blogging experiment number 1: daily posting

Im on my third day of my blogging experiment number one: Daily posting.

Im excited and enjoying it a lot.

Its a whole new expereince in my blogging adventure, never tried this before and I think its worth the try
And have proven that somehow it does work. I will have to wait for four more days and have another experiment number two but that will happen after a week of this first experiment. I will still have to think about what to experiment next.

Hmmmmm, I have tried this one before I was not able to meet up with daily sked and discipline. This time is something different coz Im willing to really make it work by hook or by crook.

I can see the daily progress and I dont just wanna see go down just because of negligence. Its a day to day and a step step by step process that I am willing to undergo. It goes with the hopeless blogger in me, the way I think about this blogging future is like the hopeless romantic in me.

Im still doing it tonight, even when my eyes are red and my body aches to get that pillow and snore. Smiles.

Well see.

I have to wait and see for my self.

Tomorrow is another day it sends shivers to my spine and butterflies in my stomach and feel like eating chocolate to keep me up but I have no chocolate stock anyway. So that will have to wait. I love the feeling when I eat chocolates, it activates the senses and creates warm fuzzy feelings.

Persistent prayer

     
        God isnt out of touch when he delays answering our prayer. Often he wants us to persist through unbelieving attitudes that hinder our prayers.

Most of the time my prayer is selfish.

Its all about me, me, myself and I.

What about you?

Do you pray for others?

Most of the time, I only pray when I ask for something. More often I fail to acknowledge God's hand in everything. A realization that he is worthy of our trust when we show him we never give up in our prayers. God welcomes our humble acknowledgement of our need for him because only when we see the end of our selves  do we really realize how dependent we are on him.

There are times in my life when I ask immediate answers to my prayers, and when it seems that my hope is growing dim I just give up and wont persist. But todays word tells us to humble ourselves and ask God in prayer, never give up. Pray pray and pray.

Thank you google, I got my ads back.

Im so happy.

Im so so so happy, I wanna cry. The hopeless blogger in me found hope when I got my ads back. Wew! That was close and Im just glad and so super doper ultra mega hyper happy. I know back then how it felt when I got banned from google. It was a tragedy and I was really in state of shock. And I said to myself it wont happen again.

This time, thankfully I was not banned. Thank God. The problem was that I forgot my password and it was the time that I panicked and that was last night. The hopeless blogger in me, experimented with themes and so I lost my other gadgets on the blog and so I have to put them all again thats why I ended up losing my ads forever.

I was about to give up, but I didnt lose hope. I just keep on clicking and typing passwords to remember but it was nothing. Until there was this cellphone verification and Im glad I was able to update it with the current number that I have. Please dont be like me.

So lesson learned:

1. If you have adsense please update your information there, update your cellphone number. It was good that I was able to do that because I myself even forgot the password to my adsense and even forgot my own email password.

2. Write your password on your blogging notebook. You must have a blogging notebook, its important for us to have this kept and remembered and written, with all those passwords and usernames.

3. Dont panic. It would only cause a strain in your heart. Just take your time and think think think on how to solve the problem. And thats what I just did.

4. Last lesson, I know youre a blogger and you want nice templates, but in my part, I guess I will have to settle this one coz it fits me well. I have to be content or else im going to ruin my hopeless blogger appetite.

Its a man's desire to love and to be loved in return. Many of us love someone maybe secretly and maybe loving that someone on our own. More often than not, that some one loves another and it breaks our heart. I have been to this kind of situation. I broke my heart many times, with the hopeless romantic me, I cried in silence in the darkest corner of my life.

Alone.

Taken for granted.

God comforted me with his word.

Jesus' theme he was passionate to share, God's pursuit of us.

He has told tales of the lost sheep, coins, sons and increasingly opened our ears to the extent of God's love for us.  The stories often ending up happily ever after, the find of the lost sheep, the finding of the lost coin, and the return of the prodigal son. How each ending of each story gave smiles in our faces and heart warming scenes so touching, a reunion.

How amazing God the eternal pursuer of our souls. We dont have to chase him down or convince him to forgive us and take us back. He is the one seeking to win us back.He longs to lavish us with his goodness while we spend eternity worshiping him.

God loves us so much and He doesnt stop in pursuing us, those he love he will pursue. We are the apple of God's eye and he wants to spend eternity with him.

This God - the the Good Shepherd, Seeker, Father - loves us. He broke his own heart in pursuit of our hearts. Listen, and we will hear his i love you today.

Oh no, that is really me.And if we equate it with the blogging side, Im the hopeless blogger. Im in love with the thought of blogging, wahehehehehe. Whatever. I have been very busy lately with work and often times I got busy with facebook and I realized Im wasting precious time and money and strength. But even how many times I realize, I just keep on realizing and still wasting my time on facebook. I know a lot of people are already are. I hope they also realize and be not like me, realizing with out doing.

Hmmmmmm, it does make sense. It will make sense. After this post I will try my luck and create another just another wordpress blog.

The Experiment number 1.

This all about evening and morning posting. I just have to monitor for a month how would my blog be one month from now if I blog twice a day. Well, sounds time consuming but we'll see. So Last night my blog rank in TOP blogs was 798 and tonight  Im on the 750th place. Thats good news for me. So, an idea came to mind that hopefully day by day , week by week, and month by month if I just to my share then my rank will go higher.

Then, the challenge is if I will be able to sustain it? Can I do it? Can I really do it?

These are the questions this blog will answer.

Letting go and hanging on

" Let me show you how letting go and hanging on work together."

Let go and rest. Hang to to faith. Losen up on the things of this world. Hold tight to Jesus.

How can I let go and hang on. It would take a lifetime  to learn how to balance letting go and holding on. Its letting go of myself and holding on to God and God gave us His training manual - the Bible.

Even me, its hard to let go and let God. I have tried once in my life letting go and let God take over. It was hard with all the tears and the pain and the sleepless nights but God comforted me and wiped the tears from my eyes. I learned my lesson and tried God to take over. A lot of things changed. I was more independent and was more confident on myself never to depend on someone.

There is no denying the struggles we face when it comes to trading our humanness for God's better way but when we release our hold on a lesser perk to free our hands to grip immesurable treasure, our hope can soar into eternity as God intends it to.

The Daily God book

Surprise!
I dont if you are surprised but I am !
I am surprised by myself and I am so excited!
Why?
Because, finally I found this great great book and I fell in the first time I laid my eyes on him. Though its a book, I guess Im having butterflies in my stomach and feels kilig when I read this book.

The Daily God book by Erin Keeley Marshall, its a devotional book that starts with the book of Genesis and ens with revelation 365 days. I found it and bought for P 230.00 on book sale so its around 6 dollars. Its a very nice devotional. Every day you can read heart warming and intruiging titles that could somehow relate very much to each and every one of us. It touches the heart and communicates with our soul. I soooooo love it.

Hopefully, Id be very glad to share inspiring thoughts and messages from God daily. Well, I cant promise but I have to commit myself in doing it because I know we will all enjoy God's revelation through this book daily. Tomorrow is the start of that sharing and I cant wait Im so excited.

Maranay Recipe

I so love this recipe. Im not if the kind of fish maranay is present every where, its a ukoy version but this time  I used the famous maranay fish. I still have to research for the english term of this kind of fish. Its really really small, im also not sure if its the smallest fish in the world.
  Ingredients:

cooking oil
I piece onion
2 gloves of garlic
3 pieces egg
2 spoons of all purpose flour
pepper and salt to taste

Procedure:

1. First wash the maranay using the strainer, be careful to use the fine ones to prevent the small fish from going the drain.

2. Then, drain all the excess water.

3. Mix all the ingredients.

4. With a large spoon, scoop and form flat in our frying pan with enough oil to cook.

5. Serve best with catsup and your kind of sawsawan.
