Thats the word I know I ought to do as a child of God.  But often times I feel Im not that smiling. I know a smile makes one beautiful and will radiate a light that will be a blessing to every one around me.

Lord I want to be that kind of person. As your child I know I could radiate that light that comes from you. Lord help me, I cant do this alone.

A smile is the best make over one can have and the cheapest because we dont have to go to the doctors for alterations and another plus factor a smile could make us look younger.

My way of memorizing verses

Lamp 2 consists of 98 verses and at the training house where Im living with 14 other house mates we are trained to disciple, teach others, share the gospel and also memorize the verses from A to g with 14 verses each letter. Because I have a very tight schedule with candy crush saga as a top user of my time I fail to memorize verses and its really shameful coz among the group Im the only one who failed to memorize. Oh no! Its really something to be ashamed of. So I have decided to really improve it and try to memorize as many verses as I can.

My memory list

1. I wrote the verses on paper and always read it from time to time.
2. I recorded my own voice while I read those verses, in that way it would easier to memorize if we lept on reading.
3. Write the verses while I memorize out loud. Through this I can just find it easier to memorize those verses.
4. While riding on a jeep, in long lines and waiting places you can silently memorize the printed verses.\
5. Pray always.
6. Review the verses daily

Family day @ Cabula River Resort

May 18, 2013 PLDT-Philcom and SBI Family day. Its not the usual out of town trip since we have lots of expenses to consider like fuel, expensive out of town food, rent for the venue, travel allowances of employees from other LECs. Now its just a simple within the city venue and its my frist time to set foot on The Cabula River Resort after typhoon sendong, it was heavily damaged but the management tried their best to restore the resort, there are still ongoing renovations and new adventures in store for all of their clients but for the mean time, they only have the hanging bridge. zipline and the swimming pool to start with.

Well, the hanging bridge is really not that grand, but its a cool surprise for first timers children and adult alike. If you want to try dip zipline, well like it or not you have to pass through the hanging bridge to reach the zipline terminal.

Its a huge single pool where children are safe coz its zero feet to 7 feet only and they also provide life guards who will be their knight in shinning armor. Theres a spring which is the source of the pool and its cold. It was really something that cooled down my body not knowing that the harmful sunrays started to cause some redness after the hours of swimming pool adventures with the kids and the co workers alike.

How to get there and reminders

1. Ride a lumbia jeepney from carmen market.
2. The resort is just along the road so its easy to locate.
3. Entrance fee of 50 for adults and 30 for children.
4. Prepare for 200, 400 600 and 800 cottage fees.
5. If you plan to swim dont forget to bring sunblock, I got a few  sun blocks because of the hours spent in the pool.
6. You can also bring fly killers, the venue is okey but there are lots of flies zooming to and fro specially on food.

Blog updates

I have not blogged for three days and I have seen how it could affect the life of our blogs. Its a matter of having good ideas that is worth blogging for. Its important.. Its really very important. If you want to have a blog that id growing with readers and with some interesting facts, then a lesson learned update it daily or if not more than once a day. its really something that could if it off the top blogs rankings. I tell you from 600 my ranking dropped to 928 this evening. And Im really not so happy about it. It could really affect and brought much damage to myself. Oh no! This cant be happening and I said to my self. Oh yes, its really happening and the damage has been done.

What to do?

I will try to make a few list here for myself, I really have to remind myself or else things would get elsewhere.


1. I have to tell myself to blog daily. Its a must. I have to think of something that will really give me the ideas to talk about and have a list so that I wont fail with that target in mind and in my heart.

2. have the self discipline to blog once a day or more than once a day.

3. Blog from the heart and really think of topics that will also something that will be of interest to others who will read it.

4. Blog about the places that I have visited.

5. Blog about food and my food adventures.

6. Blog about the plants that I have and the newest collections.

7. Blog about my cooking adventures and experiments in the kitchen and.

8. Blog about my blogging experiences and the ups and downs of blogging.

Galaxy tab 2

Samsung Galaxy tab 2. Too to good to be true and its true.
I have the galaxy tab 2 and I just cant believe it. And I have to believe it thats its true coz I have it in my hand. Wow, amazing. Thank you Lord for the blessing and thank you for the kind hearted person who gave me the Galaxy tab 2. Its really nice, not heavy on the pocket and more so its techy, handy and so sleek. I used to play my candy crush on my netbook but now it goes in style with the new galaxy tab 2, Im loving it and looking forward to experience blogging using it. I have chosen the color white coz its matches my phone and also it looks classy with the black casing cover for protection. Also I bought screen protector for protection from dust and other particles. The one given to me was the one with wifi only not with the 3g coz the 3g is more expensive than the wifi only. It doesnt matter, as long as its there to serve the purpose, handy and easy to carry where ever you go. The struggle I have as of the moment is the hard time typing using the qwerty type keypad. Im adjusting and hopefully will be able to adjust soon.

It took a few stores for us to find the casing cover which means the unit is selling like pancakes, good we found a store which sells all sorts of covers and casings from phone to netbooks and to tablets with their latest models of units and handy phones.

I have yet to discover this new toy galaxy tab 2. And Id like to take this opportunity to thank my sponsor for giving me the unit, God will bless you more and more.

Four pics one word

After the candy crush I have a new mania, the four pics one word.
Its a challenging game for me for it requires the use of my dried brain cells, giving it some sort of an exercise. Maybe I needed it to review my vocabulary and also my patience. It takes patience to figure out the words. But when you solve the eight up to nine letter word there's feeling of fulfillment in being able to guess the word. Though it may require time and effort but its very much worth the try and the excitement you get in guessing or getting the word. But according to Kp Yohanan we are our best enemies. There are time that we tend to expect high from ourselves and we get upset in the end when we fail.

Rainy summer night

Wow, feels good to have this cool weather in a summer night. Its been months that the nights were so humid and feels like always sweaty and it reminds me to take the plunge and head for the shower or even worst dream of being in a swimming pool touching the cold water and embracing the sweet fragrance of the summer sweet scent with fresh fruits to complete it. Well, well, its just a dream but now Im glad we have a break from that biting heat of night. I love to sleep early and hope that I could wake up late but I have to wake up at about 4:30 in the morning to prepare the breakfast for almost 20 people. Wahehehehehe Im just glad I'll be able to wake up early tomorrow despite the weather.

For now, im enjoying the candy crush.
Stuck on level 39 and was glad when I saw that my top blog has now reached 563 from 700 something ranking. Well, well well, not bad for  a start.
I figured out the secret of having a good or improved ranking. Its about talking about gadgets and of course facebook. t goes with it and I hope Im right and with crossed fingers doing posts. Its hard to be a trying hard blogger like me.

I better try to start to slow down with playing and sleep early for tomorrow's event.

Gaga over candy crush saga

Its everywhere, every corner where theres facebook there's candy crush saga and several people are enjoying this game. I admit that Im one of those who are enjoying this game. I cannot classify myself as one of those who are going gaga over candy crush saga, but maybe soon if  I  not discipline myself I will join the ranks of those who have sleepless nights because of this game. In my case I stop playing have lost all the five lives and sometimes I haggle and get lives watching ads and more often playing other games. I know it bad, and a bad habit could really waste my precious time. Thats why most of the time when Im playing candy I make sure that its a multitasking activity not just sole playing alone so that at the same time I can do something productive and worth while. Sometimes I fold clothes wile waiting for a favor or a life from a friend and some freebies.

So, to all my facebook friends lets just take it easy and dont bury yourselves much on playing candy crush, its not good to over do and spend much time. Lets be wise in spending our time. Time wasted is like a treasure lost.

samsung S3 mini curiosity

Hmmmmm its getting techy with all the new gadgets coming out with great specs and features that could inspire the human soul and also confuse the human mins. And one of those minds are mine. I got hooked with reading samsung s3 mini reviews and if Im not gonna stop reading I know I might get fall in love with it and then you know what happens next. I love samsung and the features but the unit I have is only the galaxy pocket and sadly I cannot use it to play candy crush saga wahehehehehe. Sad indeed I only have the choice of playing it on my laptop and I wish there could be more convenient ways to enjoy it. But the samsumg s3 mini is an additional espense coz I have to pay 8k plus outright and I also have a plan of 500 monthly to maintain. Well well well, that could wait a little longer, coz as for now its only a luxury and not a need and there are some other important things to spend money on and I know I should be wise in my spending lifestyle. Though its way way affordable than the iphone5 which pretty heavy on my pocket, and Im not that convinced that the iphone5 is worth the price, well Im so biased since im loyal to samsung. The iphone5 is for those who could really afford and I just belong to the practical and wise spender middle class.

Productive saturday for me

Im glad that as early 9am I finished washing my clothes and cleaned the garden area and blogged a new. Wow, I love saturdays when theres no work and all I have to do is sleep and relax. I need this, with so much chaos and all I really need this. I need time to relax and just be with myself and rest and enjoy just being alone. I plan to go down town to check some supplies for the pillow and buy a few groceries for dinner tomorrow. Wew, its just a busy week for me and im looking forward for the coming week where I can go home to cebu and have bonding with family and friends and also be with churchmates.  Productive I also plan to buy pots for the coming flowers from the mountains. Shane our housemate will be coming home from a ministry visit and Im already excited to see the surprises she promised to bring.

Productive saturday, I wish I could rest this afternoon. A short nap will do and can help me with my painful back. I still have a bed sheet to wash and a room to clean. Its a long long day and I wish i could really make it a productive one.

Its already 12:51 in the morning and Im still alive and kickin doing the candy crush saga mania. I just cant sleep, I guess  ate too much durian and drank two glasses of coke and thats why Im still so high and opted for asking life through clicking ads through facebook. And I cant believe it Ive been stuck to level 33 left with 14 moves and cant move on unlesss someone give me extra moves.

Yay, I hope I can find my way and get some sleep for sunday is the busiest day of the week and I  cant afford waking so late and miss our quiet time and be late in all the chores that I have to do.

Very far from even the top 100 blogs of the Philippines which means I have to work harder to get it there, when? Thats a question I don know how to answer or will I ever find the answer even. I saw it went up a few notches a few days ago when I started blogging daily. Well, well, well, this is going to give my pressures to keep on having a few notch higher. The answer is to blog daily. What? Blog daily? I dont know if I will be able to blog daily, its a lot of work and a lot of words for me to type and when it comes to blogging I dont think I can be motivated daily.

What to do to increase my rank in top blogs Philippines:

1. Blog daily - its a challenge and takes lots of efforts but I will try.
2. Comment other blogs - its a key to get someone read you, read other blogs, its a secret that should be done, its like talking to other blogs and see that the effect is that they will also talk back.
3. Log with sense - I know im just a trying hard blogger but I know someday I will reap the harvest of patience and hard work. I dont even blog that much with vigor and with power. I just blog with senseless things and senseless words. But now I know I have to try to make sense and see if I can really do it with flying colors.
4. Blog interesting topics - Readers would like to see good things and new and interesting things. I have to be more creative in my blogging and take it to a higher level.
5. Blog about food - its interesting and its yummy, so I have to find yummy pics to post as well.
6. And lastly, I have to do all listed above with a heart and patience and the willingness to explore the blogging world. And for now I got to do my assignment, comment blogs and read other blogs. Hope you all have a wonderful saturday morning.

Labor day getaway

I love holidays and I dont like mondays.
And yesterday was a wednesday and we had a holiday.
It was oh so relaxing, a day that started with the slight zumba followed by sharing of God's word and the fasting of breakfast. Meeting for the young people for the upcoming October conference. Much to do and much to think about, venue, speakers and other stuff but we were able to finish it after lunch and decided to have a sunny wednesday dip at the beach.

Its still a secret place, a private resort under construction and I love the blessing of being to enjoy in a semi private manner since we were alone and it was hassle free, it was cozy and it was peaceful. Looking forward for more holidays and places to go and explore. It doesnt have to be far away, even in the places where we live we can still enjoy the local resorts and even help promote. What matters most is that we have experienced being stress less and stress free.
