Just Jlin

     Im Jeremy Lin fan. Im not really happy with the way he is treated in LAkers with coach Byron Scott. When he performs in a certian game for sure the next games will be bad news for Jeremy. I dont know, as if he is punished for playing well.

     I visit the site  everday and exchange thoughts and ideas  with Jemremy Lin fans and also at times find myself defending Lin and fighting with those who talk against our man Jlin.

     Evenso, I continue to support him and will continue to do so with the way he is treated. Hope he'll be traded to some team like Knicks. There are rumors about trade to other teams and its I will have to be patient till the middle of february 2015. Just Jlin.

Im a sinner, but im special to God He died on the cross for my sin. Even with the countless times I failed and hurt Him, He is always there to forgive as long as we come to Him with a humble heart. He deserves our utmost praise and adoration.

I love you sabado.
I Love Eheads.

It was during my college days that I fell in love with the Eheads. First heard the song from a sophomore Computer Science student during our department acquaintance party at the beach.I was just on my first year computer science @ MSU-IIT. I forgot the boy who sang the song but never forget the song. Toyang. They try to tell us were too young, too young to really be in love. How could I forget my first love for rock music. I fell in love the first time, learned to play the guitar and played my first guitar song El Bimbo. I was a fan. One of the many thousands if not one of the million fans. I sang some of the off key songs and stories of a young student like me. I loved Eheads and am still in love with them. 

When they called it quits last 2002, it broke my heart. I cried. My first broken heart. And when they had the reunion concert I had high hopes for new songs and looking forward of seeing more gigs of the Eheads together. But again, like a bitter sweet refrain it was only for a while and the music died. But their songs kept playing. Though I broke my heart I was still in love, very much in love.

And Now, we are in in each others arms with sabado and 1995.
Brings me back to those good old days. Eraserheads. 
Soon, the air waves will be playing their songs and a sure hit.

Found this book at book sale for only 125.00 pesos and its worth every peso. Guess, more than enough the learnings and the insights.Its precious. Its priceless.

Its almost middle of the month and Im still not half through this first book.

I so love this book. It hit me at my weakest. 

My kryptonite. My prayer life.

I must admit, its my one of the weakest points of my spiritual life.

Though im still not a mother like the author, I can relate much to her.

Nail bookmarks for the Philippines and Beyond

I received a dramatic bookmark a few years ago.
I call it dramatic for I never received a bookmark before.
As far as I could vividly remember It was quiet big for a card, with very soft paper used and the most dramatic of it all was that there's a nail tied with a ribbon.
The nail was almost rusty and not even that fixed properly in place.
But the message of the nail book mark struck me, it touched me in a very  special way.
These were the very words;

just a simple nail.

However you will never be able to use it for the purpose that it was intended. It will never join two pieces of wood or fasten a picture to a wall. This nail will probably never be hammered by you – we don’t think anyone could bring themselves to do it. Not this particular nail. I thought about it.  And decided to to improve and over the years made to be given to conferences in our church. But I have decided to share it to subscribers, to friends and even my officemates.  And one day I dreamed of making it big time. I dreamed of making the boomarks dreaming it would reach the whole Philippines and beyond. Sounds impossible, but I have a God of impossibilities and who knows where it would reach. All I have to do is make those nail bookmarks and give give and give.

Initially, I have given almost 50 pieces to my former library boss way back in college in MSU-IIT, almost a hundred pieces to MUST a college school in our city, and will be sending soon 100 more piece to Dipolog through my best friend and classmate in college. Last may 2014 I also gave almost 50 pieces to my call center friends.

This is an impossible dream. But, I leave it all to GOd.

Finally, FIBA win after 40 years

It was such a wonderful FIBA game last night with Senegal. I never thought the team could win the game.
Finally, after 40 years another game won.
I was screaming and cheering and at some point shouted much for the Gilas team. I thought it was another heart breaking game, but thank God it was the sweetest win of all.

Im on peanut butter sandwich

I love vacations and food and the long trips and the white sand beaches.

But when I got home, to my surprise my pants got too tight,I have trouble using them.

So I have decided to lose some fat belly and do a protein diet regimen and it starts today.

And I mean it.

Went for work early and bought I pack of sliced bread and 2 kilos bananas.

These will be my snack today and my lunch and dinner tonight.

I really mean it.

I so love this peanut butter brand.

So love the peanut butter scent and the smell of freshly baked bread.

I hope I can endure the menu for today.

Reading List for the Month of September

I love books and theres no moth that goes by that I cant buy books. I say books, because at one time I can buy more than two or more books. Im a book addict but not a reading addict but addict in buying. I think I have not finished a single book since july. Wow. That means I have a lot of books that I still have to read. The book that I started reading last May is not even half way through. Each time I re read time and again, I almost always go back to page one just to review the pages I read a few months ago.

 

Book number 1: Get off your knees and pray

Still not finished with Get off Your knees and pray, I m reading this book by Joel Rosenberg, also a very nice book, but still the same I read it over and over again. Back from square one, confusing it with get off your knees and Pray.

Book number 2: Invested Life

And the Third book, well Im being confident that hopefully for the month of september I will be able to red three books.

Book number 3: The Love Shack

Three books for the month of september sounds impossible for me.

Danggit chicharon and spanish omelette for breakfast!

Its thursday.

And I have these special treats for the housemates.

Special pasalubong from cebu, the chicharon danggit.

Just came from a wonderful cebu vacation and went enjoyed the malapascua island with it mouth watering food, great service and mingled with the fishing men and women of the fishing village. HAd a taste of fish hooked grilled fish. It was the best. And today I had the time to share awesome pasalubong from my father's homeland.

  

Just heat oil and deep fry danggit, make sure

you have paper towels to absorb all the oil.

This is spanish omelette:

You need 6 pcs potatoes cut nto small cubes

4 pcs eggs

1 piece onion finely chopped

4 cloves garlic minced 

1/2 cup cooking oil

1/4 kilo ground pork 

salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

1. Saute garlic and onion.

2. Add ground pork and simmer for a few minutes.

3. Add the cubed potatoes cook until its tender and drain with a strainer.

4. Beat the eggs and add the potato and ground pork mixture.

4. Add oil and fry half of the mixture.

5. You can use a big plate to turn over the omelette to the other side so it wont fall apart.

6. Serve hot with catsup on the side.

7. Enjoy!

Yes Its Passion Fruit

I so love this fruit: passion fruit

 Its been years that I was not able to eat this fruit. I remember the good old elementary years, sa mababang paaralan nag kanluran, used to eat this with salt while on my way home with neighbors. Cant wait to go home and eat it like the good old days.

Have you tried this kind of fruit?

Mother would scrape the fruit seeds mix with orange juice or other juices which really gives a unique flavor that I cant seem to describe. Its sour with the distinct passion fruit flavor just like no other. I found several passion fruit recipes on the net, like cakes and other stuff and Im excited to try if given the time.:)

No jollibee chicken joy?

I'm one of the many jollibee lovers. I love everything about jollibee. The first on my list, chicken joy, palabok, burger steak, french fries and the shanghai roll, jolly hotdog, the breakfast treats and a whole lot more.

Last week end, I went to Iligan and craved for Jollibee chicken joy and was so excited to have that snack of jolly spaghetti and one piece chicken. But to my surprise, the food attendant politely said they have no chicken. What? May I beg your pardon? No chicken joy? I ended up with a glass of soda and spaghetti. Even when I got home, cagayan de oro, my home away from my real home Cebu, still no chicken joy.

so sad...where is my jollibee chicken joy?

I got the chance and talked to one of the food attendants, he said that it has something to do with the chicken supply from their supplier nationwide. A price increase of chicken. I even heard no chicken at mang inasal.
