At dawn people have been locked to their tv sets while others in major streets in Manila prepared for the the welcome of the 'Kamao ng Bayan" Manny "Pacman" Paquiao. In the midst of political and economic distress the victory of pacman serves an inspiration among the Filipino people. And for a moment we have set aside our differences and stood as one people rejoicing of our victory as one nation. There is a spark of hope, somewhere in our lives and this is just start of a promising year to come ahead of us.
